Well, I never thought I'd say it, but....thank God it's Monday! This weekend has just been severley hectic. Friday was set-up for faire, and Mykel had to get a transfusion, and we had her birthday party that night. Saturday was get on site early and finish getting stuff set-up and out before the gates opened, kids presented to their Majesties, and record numbers of guests that kept us busy all day. Sunday started slow, but by 1:00 we were having mass numbers again, as well 25-35 mph winds which was kicking up a crap-load of dust. Was so bad at points that I couldn't see across faire. Got sun-burned. Have black snot. Had a great weekend, even if it knocked me on my butt!
'Tis the season
Well, the faire season has unoffically started in this area. The whole family went to the Medieval Ren Faire in Norman, Oklahoma this past weekend. I got my first faire-burn of the year (and probably not my last). The girls had a great time, but the younger of the two REALLY didn't want to ride in the wagon. There was too much to see and try to get into. Now that that faire is over, we are on the countdown to the Great Plains Spring Festival...just a scant 10 days from now. Still have to finish the kids garb, finish the last few item for sale in the booth, start and finish the 10' flags to be posted at our booth entrance as well as carried in the parade......man, too much to still do. Better go and get working....

Thank you! I know Sharon will appreciate your efforts on her behalf.
Axel & CatherineHmmm. Maybe we should have coffee night at the tower some night (if you haven't seen it in the candlelight, you're missing something pretty spectacular!)
